Google might soon release another social app, this time aimed at groups. Although similar to Apple’s recently announced Clips app, which allows users to quickly edit videos and add visual elements to them (does it sound anything like Snapchat?), the unnamed new app from Google will have a slight twist. The users will be group based.

Those using the app will be able to create groups where they can share images. Now you would say what’s new about it? Well, the best part is that users will be able to edit a picture together and at the same time.

The app is reportedly said to be associated with Google’s artificial intelligence which will provide suggestions and ‘tag and organize photos for easier searching in the future’. The new app would join existent social apps by Google viz Allo and Duo.

Currently being developed by the Google Photos team (which is behind the PhotoScan app as well), this app might be teased during the company’s annual I/O conference in May.
