The newly launched home replacement app, Go Launcher, is fresh and has every reason to become your default launcher app. It packs the goodies of two of the best launchers for android, LauncherPro & ADW Launcher, and sports features of iPhone’s home launcher. It’s really awesome!
I might sound deliriously happy for Go Launcher, but bear with it — I really liked it a lot, and my hunger for change is also profound. It’s not everyday that we see an awesome app in the market that replaces our old favorites.
The Go launcher app has the likes of iPhone and Samsung’s TwLauncher [TouchWhiz UI for Samsung’s Galaxy Devices], you can uninstall apps directly from the app drawer and navigate horizontally in there. Also you can see your recently opened apps and a task manager inside the app drawer.
Although Go Launcher for Android packs many cool things, it lacks the theming features, it doesn’t have dock background feature like launcher pro, and no gorgeous collection of themes like ADW Launcher, but it’s okay for a newly launched home replacement app. It takes time to build great apps. And I am very much sure that the developers have worked hard and I hope they’ll continue to do so. Kudos to the Go Dev Team!
