Google has officially announced the dates for its annual Google I/O developer conference earlier today, on Google+. The Google I/) 13 would be held between May 15th-17th at Moscone Center West in San Francisco.

The Google I/O event is one of the most well attended and covered tech events, and Google usually uses it as a platform to demo new products (New Nexii on the way??) as well as showcase a new version of its Android OS. Considering Android 4.2 Jelly Bean has just been launched with the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 in mid November, Google I/O could well be the event where we may get out first glimpse of the much speculated Android 5.0 code named Key Lime Pie.

Of course, if you are a developer and planning to attend, you may want to keep your eye out for registration dates, as the event usually sells out within minutes of registration opening. And with the promise of a new version of Android, and potentially new Nexus devices, not to mention other amazing tech that Google shows off at this event, we are not surprised it is a sellout.
