Gboard virtual keyboard app update makes it easier to edit text

Google has started rolling out a new update which brings a new feature to its Gboard virtual keyboard app making it easier to edit and enter text. The update, which was first released for the app’s beta users, has been now made available to all Android devices. However, Google is yet to roll it out for iOS devices.

The new feature can be activated by following these steps. Click on the G button or the arrow in the keyboard’s top right corner. A cursor with arrows pointing left and right can be seen. Tap on that for text editing.

Google first began tests of a new Copyless Paste feature in Chrome for Android following which this new Gboard virtual keyboard app feature has been rolled out.
