For the uninitiated, MOBA is a gaming genre which stands for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. MOBA games usually involve two teams battling it out online for control over a map. The objective involves destroying a stronghold in the opposing team’s base, which could be the actual base itself, or any other target designated at the beginning of the game.
Other examples of popular MOBA based games include League of Legends and the Defence of the Ancients series, or DOTA as is it is popularly known.
Some of the key features in Heroes of Order & Chaos include:
- Choose between 30 unique and varied Heroes, from melee bruisers to devastating wizards
- Play for free with different characters, enjoying a changing rotation of free Heroes
- Develop and upgrade your skills and equipment throughout the game to overpower your foes and carry the game!
- Real-time action: roam over the map and lure your opponents to ambush them in the fog of war
- Fight solo or in multiplayer mode on two types of maps (3v3 or 5v5)
- Blend cooperation with buddies and competition against the opposing team into addictive games

You can also purchase new heroes using the in-game currency that you earn. Along with the release of the game, Gameloft has also announced the official HoOC league.
