Samsung is seeding out a new software update to Galaxy Tab S2 9.7. The update brings the latest monthly security patch. Although a minor one, it is highly recommended as it optimizes the performance of your 9.7 inch Galaxy Tab S2, which is very much needed for a two-year old device.
The April security patch update arrives as build number T810XXU2DQCL. And is the case with monthly security patch updates, it should also tag along regular bug fixes along the way, other than the latest Android security patch.
The update is being rolled out over the air. If it hasn’t already hit your device, you can check for it manually. Go to Settings > About device > System updates. Although a minor update, it is advisable to connect your device to a WiFi network to avoid extra data charges. Also, get your device sufficiently charged for a seamless installation of the update.
