Samsung is rolling out a new firmware update to two of its devices. The Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Note 10.1 are receiving the update which installs April security patch.
The 8-inch Tab A LTE is receiving the update as build number P355MUBU1BQC2 while the 2014 version of Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is getting the update as build number P605XXU1EQD1. The firmware not only brings the monthly security patch but also fixes regular bugs and enhances device stability.

As the update is being rolled out over the air, it may take a while to appear on your device. Alternately, you can check for it manually by heading to Settings > About device > System updates. Before hitting the download button ensure that the battery of your device is at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network.
Meanwhile, the 8-inch WiFi variant of the Tab A received April security patch early this month as software version T350XXU1BQD1. The Tablet runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and the Nougat update is expected to hit the device next month.
