We are almost on the verge of Samsung’s next big flagship, the Galaxy S8’s launch and rumors are still flowing in thick. This time around, though, the leak is not about specs or as such but a few nifty software features.
A bunch of live Galaxy S8+ images leaked online and one of which shows us a glimpse of “Advanced Functions” setting on the device. The entire text is in Spanish but we managed to understand bits of it with the help of Google translate. The Galaxy S8 will supposedly allow you to double tap on the power button to launch the camera. Essentially, this will act as a shortcut whenever you need to access the camera instantly.
We’re digging for more information from the leaked images. There seems to be a setting for Fingerprint gestures in there as well, but it isn’t very clear as to how it will function.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S8 on March 29 at an Unpacked event in New York. The smartphone is said to go on sale sometime in April the US along with a bunch of other markets.
