Samsung’s US customer base has been fortunate to receive access to the Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, and Arctic Silver Galaxy S8 color options, while the Maple Gold has been restricted internationally. And yet, America’s cross-the-water brethren won’t end up as fortunate, as a new report says that the Arctic Silver Galaxy S8 will end up an EE UK exclusive.

EE UK has established pre-orders for the Arctic Silver Galaxy S8 on June 23rd, with the 5.8-inch model (whether Arctic Silver or the universally-accessible Midnight Black and Orchid Grey) costing £10 upfront with a 24-month agreement for unlimited calls, texts, and 25GB of data (£57.99). The Galaxy S8+ also gets all that, but costs £50 upfront.

EE UK pre-orders have already surpassed those of last year’s Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, with 40% of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ customers opting for the 6.2-inch “Plus” sibling. While Midnight Black has been the color preference for 63% of all Galaxy S8 carrier pre-orders there, perhaps the Arctic Silver color addition will shake up the color preference stats just a bit.

EE UK is also throwing in full access to the BT Sport app for the entire length of the 24-month agreement. EE UK rival Three UK isn’t getting the Arctic Silver Galaxy S8, but the carrier is offering the Galaxy S8 at 50% off for three months.

To commemorate the new Arctic Silver Galaxy S8 color exclusive, EE is offering some exclusive 4G EE Max wireless plans.
