Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have had a rather turbulent start to life on the Oreo side, but it appears the company has stabilized things with the OS now reported to be hitting more markets outside the UK.

The Galaxy S7 Oreo update was first reported in the UK, halted after a couple of weeks, and resumed a few days later. Now, fresh reports surfacing from Northern Europe indicate that the update is now rolling out to S7 and S7 Edge users in the region.

The update is being outed as build number ERE8 and even though we’ve only gotten confirmation from Galaxy S7 Edge users, we are confident the same build number is also rolling out to the standard S7.

These are OTA updates and as such, they will take time before appearing on all Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge handsets in this region. Rather than wait, you can also check out the pages below to download Oreo firmware for your specific device.

Like any other OS upgrade, Android Oreo presents its problems after the upgrade, luckily, we have them all documented alongside their possible solutions in this post. For regular software updates regarding the pair, also feel free to check out the pages below.
