Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Nougat update is now released in Taiwan

Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge owners in Taiwan are up for a treat, as the Android 7.0 Nougat update is finally making its way to their smartphones. The update with build number G935FXXU1DQBI is for the Galaxy S7 Edge model number SM-G935FD. The same goes for the Galaxy S7 (SM-G930FD) with build number G930FXXU1DQBI

Before proceeding with the update ensure that your personal data, be it music, photos etc, is backed up and also make sure that your device has at least 50% charge. Download the update preferably over a WiFi connection as its more stable than over mobile data.

The Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge had been circulating around for quite a while now. The Galaxy Note 5 too just got approved for the update to Nougat.

Putting the current flagships aside, the successor to the S7 and S7 Edge is all set to release on February 27th. There’s a whole load of rumors regarding the upcoming Galaxy S8 which remain to be confirmed when the device is revealed at MWC.
