Firmware build numbers for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge upcoming Android 7.0 Nougat update has already been leaked. It’s being reported that Galaxy S6/S6 edge nougat firmware will release with G920FXXS5DPK7 & G925FXXS5DPK7 firmware build numbers.
Earlier this month, Samsung rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat beta for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge under the Galaxy Beta program. And once the Korean manufacturer is done testing the beta release, the update will graduate to a stable release and roll out for all S7 users worldover.

We have tested SuperSU root on the Galaxy S7 Nougat beta update and it works flawlessly. All you gotta do is download the latest SuperSU zip and flash it via TWRP recovery.

How to Root Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Nougat build PK7
- Download and transfer the SuperSU zip file from the download link above to your device’s storage.
- Boot your device into TWRP recovery.
- Tap on Install and select the SuperSU zip file that you transferred to your device in Step 1.
- After selecting the .zip file, do Swipe to Confirm Flash on the bottom of screen to begin the flashing process.
- Once SuperSU is flashed, you’ll get Reboot System option, select it.
Once booted, your Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge should be rooted. To verify root access, download/install any root checker app from the Play Store.
