Samsung is doing its utmost to arm its 10th-anniversary flagship, the Galaxy S10, with top-of-the-line specs following the disappointing sales of the Galaxy S9. Rumor has it that the South Korean giant is prepping four Galaxy S10 models.
Amidst this rumor, SamMobile reports that Samsung will launch one of the models of the upcoming Galaxy S10 with ceramic back similar to the Essential Phone, Xiaomi MIX 2 and OnePlus One, though it is late in hopping on to this trend.

Also, as per the report, the low-rung model codenamed SM-G970x will feature a 5.8-inch display and a single rear camera while the other two premium models, the SM-G973 and SM-G975, will sport 5.8-inch and 6.44-inch displays as well as dual and triple rear cameras, respectively.
The duos are further expected to feature fetching gradient colors. An earlier report has given away that the Galaxy S10 will be clad in four colors: White, Black, Green, and Yellow. The Ceramic model, however, will come out in White and Black colors.

Regarding the fourth variant, which entered into reckoning only recently, it will tower over all other three models in terms of features and technologies. This high-up model is tipped to launch with 5G support and six cameras- four in the back and two in front. Compared to other models, it will also rock the tallest 6.7-inch display.
According to the report, the most premium model SM-G975FC will, most likely, sport the Ceramic back. If that is true, then the variant will have to let go the Wireless charging feature as the latter requires a glass back. Nevertheless, Ceramic will add to the durability of the handset while ensuring a more premium look at the same time.
Ceramic ranks slightly lower than the diamond and sapphire in Moh’s scale so it can’t get scratched by any other minerals except these two.
The Galaxy S10 is slated to launch in February next year, but the 5G-enabled model might follow after a month since its introduction depends on the availability of the 5G network. The South Korean tech giant is said to be in talks with AT&T, T-Mobile, and some South Korean service providers so that 5G rollout issue is sorted out in these countries at the earliest.
