The fact that Samsung is working on Galaxy On7 Pro 2017 gets more legit now as the device has received certification from WiFi Alliance. Listed as model number SM-G615F, the device is shown running Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Well, this is not the first time we have seen Galaxy On7 Pro stopping by a certification site. It has already made its appearance on GFXBench and Geekbench with the same model number SM-G615F. Although, there’s no official confirmation about SM-G615F being the 2017 iteration of Galaxy On7 Pro, the relation has been drawn from the original Galaxy On7 Pro carrying model number SM-G600F.

Samsung has upgraded the specs of last year launched Galaxy On7 Pro and has come up with the new Galaxy On7 Pro 2017. While the former had a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, the latter gets 5.7-inch (1920X1080) FHD display. The RAM and internal memory has also been upgraded in On7 Pro 2017 to 3GB and 32GB from 2GB and 16GB.

The On7 Pro is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor while for the 2017 version it could be either 2.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 or Exynos 1.69 GHz octa-core processor. On the imaging front, the upcoming device will sport 13 MP rear camera, same as its predecessor, while the front camera gets a boost from a mere 5MP seen on On7 Pro to 13MP.

Clearly, Samsung has its eyes set on the global market with all sections targeted, from flagship to mid-range and budget segment. It has released its flagship device Galaxy S8 and S8+ and if leaks are to be believed works on its next Note 8 has also begun. On the other hand, we will soon be witnessing the release of budget phones such as Galaxy On7 Pro 2017 soon. So, Samsung has its wings spread over a large area and is all set to roar high. How high, well, time will tell.
