Galaxy On5 to get 64GB variant with lowered down specs in SM-G5528

Galaxy On5, the budget smartphone from Samsung, will get a sibling in the form of a new variant, as per a TENAA listing. A device with model number SM-G5528 has been spotted on Chinese certification site TENAA. This listed device is shown carrying three different storage options.

As the Galaxy On5 2016 carried the model number SM-G5520, the new Samsung device with model number SM-G5528 on TENAA can be none other another variant of the On5 2016.

This new Galaxy device, as per the TENAA listing, will come in three storage options viz 16GB/32GB/64GB. The RAM has also been changed, rather downgraded to 2GB from the 3GB as found in On5 2016.

Another feature which has received a downer in the SM-G5528 model is the front camera. While the Galaxy On5 2016 had an 8MP selfie shooter, the new Galaxy On5 will receive only a 5MP front camera. Other features have been kept intact at 5 inch display with 720 × 1280 pixels resolution, 2600MAH battery, 13MP rear camera. Both phones run the Android Marshmallow.

  1. well ON-series devices r great from samsung since they cost less and provide some good features like AMOLED displays and good design and hardware and if this phone is priced right it will make a great device as well!!
