A recent report suggested that the refurbished version of the Galaxy Note 7 aka the Note FE will be launched on July 7. It, however, seems like the launch date will be pushed to July 30.

According to a new report from Korea, the delay in launch is due to some production issues. Apparently, the company won’t be able to produce around 300,000 to 450,000 units by July 7 hence decided to push the launch date further.

Moreover, the Galaxy S8 is still selling like hot cakes in South Korea and it would bring the company more profit than the Galaxy Note FE will. So, the company seems to wait until it exhausts all the Galaxy S8 units available for shipment.

Also, the price of the Note FE still remains undecided apparently. The report suggests that the smartphone will likely be priced around 700,000 won (approximately $620) which is nearly 200,000 to 300,000 won lower than the actual price of the Note 7.

The Note FE is expected to come with a 5.7-inch QHD dual edge Super AMOLED display, iris scanner, IP68 water and dust resistance, and improved S Pen and camera. Also, the battery capacity seems to have been reduced from 3,500mAh to 3,200mAh.

The report further adds that the Galaxy Note FE will also have a dedicated Bixby button like the one on Galaxy S8 line.
