There were quite a few rumors recently claiming that Samsung will be launching the Galaxy C series of phones with the dual rear cameras first to sort of test the waters and then unveil the much-hyped Galaxy Note 8 with the dual camera setup at the back.
That may not be likely. At least, not according to a recent leak which surfaced online earlier today. A Twitter user who goes by the moniker Ice universe claims that the Galaxy Note 8 will be the company’s first smartphone to feature a dual rear camera setup.

The leakster has also posted an image of the Note 8 showing the placement of the dual camera module and the fingerprint scanner which falls in line with the previous leaks. If the original design turns out to be anywhere closer to what the leaks suggest, it will definitely be a bad news for the folks who have been waiting for the handset.
As for the specs, the Galaxy Note 8 is tipped to house a Snapdragon 835 chipset along with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It will apparently come in 64GB and 128GB storage options. A recent leak has also revealed that the smartphone will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack intact alongside the S Pen.
