After the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge , the Galaxy Note 5 is now receiving a new software update in Canada.
Arriving with the software version N920W8VLS4CQF2, the update installs the latest, i.e. June security patch on the Galaxy Note 5.
With the June security patch, you can expect to see a bunch of fixes to the existing bugs alongside system and performance improvements.
The update is currently being rolled out over the air, and chances are it may not reach all the users at once. In which case, you can easily check for the update manually by visiting Settings and the About Device to check for the software update.

As usual, try to maintain at least 60% charge on your handset before installing the update. In addition, switch to a stable Wi-Fi network to avoid additional data charges.
Installing the update shouldn’t have an affect on your personal data on phone. But, it’s always good to have a backup handy should things go south.
