Samsung won’t be releasing Android 7.0 Nougat update to the Galaxy Grand Prime, but the folks over at xda already has an unofficial build of Nougat based CM14 available for the device. Although, it’s a work-in-progress project at the moment, but will soon become stable and you’ll be able to use Nougat on Grand Prime without a flaw.
CM14 is an Android 7.0 Nougat based AOSP ROM developed and maintained by CyanogenMod — the most popular custom ROM for Android devices.
This is an alpha release ROM and might not be suitable for every day usage. Check all details about the ROM below, along with downloads and installation instructions.
