At Samsung Electronics Hosts Samsung Developer Conference Korea 2024, Samsung launched Gauss 2, its new AI model that makes Galaxy AI features work faster and better. The company built this model to work both on devices and through cloud services.
You can find Gauss 2 in three different versions. The Compact version works right on your device without needing the internet. The Balanced version gives you steady performance without using too much power. The Supreme version pulls out all the stops for the best possible results.
Samsung's own teams have already started using Gauss 2. More than half of the developers now use it to write code, summarize documents, and compose emails. Customer service teams also use it to sort and understand customer conversations better.
The AI model now works with up to 14 languages and various programming languages. Samsung has also added special technology to make the AI understand context better and give you more relevant responses.
Soon, you'll see Gauss 2 working across Samsung's entire range of products. It will make features like Browsing Assist, Call Assist, Chat Assist, and Interpreter work more smoothly and quickly on your Galaxy devices.
