Samsung’s Android-powered Galaxy Camera will be launching in the UK on November 8, at a recommended retail price of £399. Samsung stores however will be offering the device from 5:00pm on November 7th, so people can grab hold of it earlier from a nearby Samsung store.

The Galaxy Camera sports a “21x optical touch zoom lens and super-bright 16M BSI CMOS sensor” for professional-looking photos from the 16 megapixel camera, helped by its “Smart Pro” technology. On the software side, the camera runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, with more than 20 pre-loaded image editing apps, which can be further expanded by apps from the Google Play Store.
