When a device nears it launch, we get to see it at Tenaa, a Chinese authority that clears devices as good for release to public. Today, we are seeing Samsung’s upcoming handset Galaxy C7 Pro make it to Tenaa, which means its launch is pretty close now.
We’re expecting the Galaxy C5 and C7 pro to release in December 2016 earlier, but latest rumors pointed to January 2017 release.
Right now, Samsung hasn’t made it open if it plans to release the Galaxy C7 Pro, along with C5 Pro, outside of China, and if it does, when. But we’re hopeful of C7 Pro and C5 Pro coming out of China, as of late, Samsung has decided to make its October-release Galaxy C9 global device too, of which Black color was leaked earlier too.
The Galaxy C7 Pro could release in China as model no. SM-C7010, while its model no. globally could be SM-C700F. Samsung’s C-series is enticing many users for its metal builds and cool specsheet, which, even though a bit below par to top specs we see in Galaxy S7, are pretty good regardless.
The Galaxy C7 Pro is expected to be released with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on-board, but the Samsung Nougat update should be available for it pretty soon. Samsung has already rollout Android 7.0 update as beta for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge and is rumored to launch the stable version as Android 7.1.1 directly.
Galaxy C7 Pro Release Date
Latest rumors point to January 21, 2017 release of the Galaxy C7 pro in China. So, the device is on target as regards China launch, where the C5 Pro is said to be delayed to February launch.
The Galaxy C7 Pro just cleared the WiFi Alliance, so its release in Europe and Asia looks set too, it’s just a matter of time now.
