Samsung looks ready to launch its next Galaxy C series phone pretty soon. Having launched the C7 Pro in China earlier this month, the Korean giant may make the C5 Pro its third offering in the C series of its Android phones, that is known for metal build and robust enough specsheet, finding its place right below the flagship S series.
We were able to spot the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro at Geekbench today, which we take as device entering the testing stage, where its performance is being put to test. The device had already made it to GFXbench (another popular benchmarking app), for what it’s worth.
Geekbench listing also gets us some hint of the C5 Pro specsheet, which generally holds out true, but cannot be taken as final word.
It seems Galaxy C5 Pro would feature 4GB of RAM, while the octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.21 GHz will run the show here too, apart from Galaxy C7 Pro, while the C9 Pro employed even better processor in Snapdragon 653. C5 Pro could launch with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on board, but that may change.
According to earlier leak at GFXbench, the C5 Pro could feature 5.5″ Full HD display, 64GB storage, and 16MP camera at both front and back.
Galaxy C5 Pro is set for release in February 2017, and it could take device until March before it’s available for purchase in China. For other markets, C5 Pro could arrive sometime in April-May, including India.
