Following the launch of C5 Pro in mainland China, product specifications for C5 Pro and C7 Pro are out and they show the device variants SM-C5108 and SM-C7018 to be heading towards Indian and European markets.
At the heart of C5 Pro (SM-C5018) resides the Snapdragon 626 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM the devices further includes 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded upto 256GB. The device also packs 16MP cameras at both ends accompanied by a 3,000mAh battery. The device also includes Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
Besides the C5 Pro, the C7 Pro (SM-C7108) is also likely to be released for the aforesaid markets. The C7 Pro, which consists of a 5.7-inch Full-HD SAMOLED display, also houses the Snapdragon 626 SoC, along with 4GB of RAM. The device also has options for either 32GB or 64GB of expandable storage space and features a 16MP camera with f/1.9 aperture at both front and back. The device runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and is backed by a 3,300mAh battery.
With the market being flooded with mid-ranged devices from literally every OEM known to mankind, the competition is fierce. Will Samsung’s latest offerings tilt the market in its favour or will these devices fall out of favour with the customers and become one of many Galaxy devices forgotten down the line? Time will tell.
