Root and TWRP status: Not yet available

The Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 leaks and rumors are in full swing. We’re expecting the device release as soon as Christmas or early in 2017. And based on leaked Galaxy A5 2017 Specs, it seems a good buy.

However, if you’re someone like us, you’d probably check a device’s customizable features first. And the A5 2017 being an Android device, being able to get root access is one of the most important features for people like you and us.

Thankfully, Samsung devices are pretty easy to get root on. All you need is a custom recovery like TWRP and you’re good to go. Flashing a root script like the latest SuperSU 2.79 zip or the Magisk systemless installer via TWRP will give you root on any Android device as long as it’s bootloader unlocked.

You might have to wait a bit for the Galaxy A5 2017 TWRP recovery builds to arrive. Generally, an unofficial build of the recovery first arrives on the xda forums, which is then tested by the users and then finally gets pushed to the official TWRP recovery repository over at TeamWin’s official website.

We’ll be sure to update this post as and when TWRP and Root are available for the Galaxy A5 2017. Stay tuned..
