How to Fix Iris Scanner on Galaxy Note 7

Unable to use Iris Scanner on your Galaxy Note 7? Is it giving you an error like “Unable to use iris recognition”? Well, try these quick fixes below and see if it resolves the issue:

  1. Make sure you’re holding the phone right, not covering the Iris scanner area.
  2. Clean the Iris scanner area. If you’re not sure, clean all area above screen on your Note 7.
  3. Restart phone.
  4. If you recently updated phone, it could also cause issues with Iris Scanner. If possible, roll back to the previews firmware version.
  5. Try wiping cache partition from recovery.
  6. Factory reset your Note 7 and see if that fixes Iris scanner.
  7. If all fails, contact customer support.
