The T-Mobile Galaxy Note is taking its sweet time to make an official appearance in front of the public, but it has just moved one step closer towards doing so. The T-Mobile Galaxy Note – which will follow the model number SGH-T879 – has passed FCC certification. The FCC documents mention that there is an NFC chip on the battery cover.

The FCC documents mention that there is an NFC chip on the battery cover. Also, a leaked inventory check list reveals that “Galaxy Note Navy Blue Demo” will be coming to T-Mobile retail stores soon. Both the FCC certification and the check list make it possible the T-Mobile Galaxy Note might make its rumored July 11 release date.

Unlike the international Note, the T-Mobile Note will come with Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 out of the box according to a previous rumor, but other specs will most probably remain the same – a 1.4Ghz Exynos dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1280×800 resolution, 16/32 GB storage, S Pen stylus, and a 2500 mAh battery.

What do you think? Would you really be interested in getting the T-Mobile Note with the same old specifications as last year, specially when it is taking so long to actually launch? Let us know in the comments.
