As the MWC 2017 nears, Samsung seems to be gearing up for the showcase of its devices — and even though it has become clear that the Korean tech giant won’t unveil the Galaxy S8 sets thereat, the company can still bring a lot to the table, even so much that it could overshadow other Android OEMs without batting an eye.
Yup, first up, Samsung now also has Exynos 9 chipset up for announcement, or so it seems as a teaser image just went live. Moreover, it’s got Galaxy Tab S3 to boot, along with a release date for the Galaxy S8.
The processor, named ‘Exynos 9’, will likely be manufactured using the same 10nm fabrication process which is being used for the Snapdragon 835 processor, which incidentally, Samsung is producing for Qualcomm.

There were initial rumors that Qualcomm chose to produce the chip with Samsung to ensure that Samsung only uses Snapdragon chips with its devices. The reports about Samsung hogging the entire supply of the chipsets forcing LG to use Snapdragon 821 in their 2017 flagship, LG G6, also pointed to the same.
Its safe to say that these rumors have now been put to rest with the Exynos 9 which has been leaked online. the specifications about the chipset are still an unknown quantity at this point but seeing as how Exynos chipsets have performed better than their Snapdragon counterparts in battery and performance segments, one expects the same trend to continue in 2017.
