Essential Phone is finally up for pre-orders at Sprint (exclusive carrier for the smartphone in the US) and guess what, you can avail a discount of $260 if you hurry up and pre-order the device (only Black Moon color variant available currently) right away.
There’s a catch, though (there’s always a catch!). You’ll have to register for Sprint’s Flex 18 month lease plan and you won’t own the device when the plan ends.
Yes, that’s right. You won’t actually own the phone by the time the said plan ends. The good news, however, is that you can either trade the Essential Phone for a different phone or pay the remaining amount, in this case it will be $175 to be the legitimate owner of the phone.

This way, you’ll end up paying nearly $440 (including the $175) for a phone that’s originally priced at $699. That’s still a good deal, isn’t it? Users can also purchase the Unlocked variant of the Essential Phone if interested.
