In October 2017, the Essential Phone received a permanent price cut from the launch price of $699.99 to $499.99, but it appears this hasn’t been enough to lure more people to buy the phone.
As of this writing, the company is making the deal even sweeter by throwing in a free 360-degree camera while sticking to the same price of $499.99. Usually, the 360-degree camera would set you back a $179, but this deal takes care of it.
This Essential Phone deal is available on Amazon. You can grab the phone in either Black Moon or Pure White. If you want nothing to do with the camera, the phone alone will set you back $449.99.
At this price, the Essential PH-1 is a steal. You’ll be getting a 5.7-inch bezel-less display with a 2560 x 1312 pixels resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The back panel has a dual 13MP camera and a fingerprint scanner while the battery capacity is decent at 3040mAh. The PH-1 runs Android Nougat out of the box but it’ll soon be upgraded to Android 8.1 Oreo, which will include support for Project Treble.
