The Google Pixel and Pixel XL are receiving an update today with build number NPF26J. The update aims to fix various bugs/issues with the device along with security improvements and new features.
Once of the newest features Pixel phones are getting with the NPF26J update is Double Tap to Wake. You might have heard of these before, this feature comes on a number of custom skinned Android devices by various manufacturers.
However, on a Google phone, it’s a first and Google is calling Double-tap to check phone on the Pixel. If you’ve the NPF26J update installed on your Pixel phone, do the following to enable the feature on your phone.
How to Enable Double Tap to Wake on Pixel and Pixel XL
- Go to Settings on your Pixel phone.
- Scroll down to middle of the page and select Moves.
- Turn on the toggle for Double-tap to check phone.
- Try it.
