I have been reading a lot of people’s posts on various forums asking for a bootloop fix for their Droid Razr.

Sadly not much can be done to fix this issue until we have unlocked bootloader or get an stock ROM file to flash (SBF file).

Anyway, here’s a small tip that may help some people in fixing their bootlooping Droid Razr (found it here):

Warning!
The methods and procedures discussed here are considered risky and you should notattempt anything if you don’t know completely what it is. If any damage occurs to you or your device, we won’t be held liable — you only will be responsible, you’ve been warned!!!

  1. Hold Volume up and Power key until your phone shuts off. And when it’s off quickly press and hold both Volume up and down keys together to get into AP fastboot mode.
  2. Now select recovery, a black screen with an Android would show up, at this time press both the volume buttons together and you’ll be able to get into recovery mode.
  3. Now select “Wipe data / factory reset
    NOTE:
When you select “Wipe data / factory reset” you’ll loose all your data on the phone. So be careful.
  4. Reboot your phone.

I’ll try my best to keep this page updated with latest tips to fix bootloop issue on Droid Razr. But please if you find or you have any tip that could help others, then please share it in the comments below. I’ll add them to this post.
