The YU Yuphoria is all set to receive the Cyanogen OS 12.1 update as an OTA today, that will update the device to Android 5.1.1. The build no. of the Android 5.1.1 update is YOG4PAS47N, and it will be rolling out gradually to all Yuphoria users over next few weeks.
Apart from the Android 5.1.1 upgrade, the Cyanogen OS 12.1 would also some of its own new features too.
The launched is seeing a some design changes, as you’d have new UI for folders and App drawer. Moreover, The LiveDisplay will change your Yuphoria’s screen based on time of the day.
There’s a slight change in UI of AudioFX too, to be in line with all YU devices, and lastly, email functionality has been tightly integrated with Calendar to make your availability easier known to people for fixing appointments.
The CM12.1 update for Yuphoria also adds support for more codecs. If you had an issue playing an audio or video file before, try again after installing Cyanogen OS 12.1, it might have been fixed now.
That’s all the update is about, and YU also says that there are other performance boosts included, and responsiveness of the devices should be better too along with better thermal control.

How to Install: Well, simply download the OTA (or Full ROM, if and when available), transfer it to the device, boot into recovery mode and use Cyanogen recovery to install the update.
