It’s no surprise that Xiaomi rarely does update its Android devices to latest and freshest releases of Android. The Xiaomi Mi 3 is never going to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update officially, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be getting an experience of it on your Mi 3.

Thanks to the folks over at XDA, an unofficial Android 7.0 Nougat ROM based on CM14 sources has been released for Mi 3. The developer hasn’t deemed it necessary to mention the bugs/issues present on the ROM so we’ll take it as a pretty stable build to test drive.

CM14 is an Android 7.0 Nougat based AOSP ROM developed and maintained by CyanogenMod — the most popular custom ROM for Android devices.

Note: This is a test release ROM and might not be suitable for every day usage. Be sure to test the ROM thoroughly before deciding on making it your daily driver.

Check all details about the ROM below, along with downloads and installation instructions.
