Unlike other smartphone vendors, Sony likes to provide its own driver sets for its smartphones. Just in case you own the Xperia XZ Premium and are unable to connect your handset to a Windows PC, chances are your PC doesn’t have the right driver set for the smartphone installed on it.
If that’s the case, here’s the proper driver set for the Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The link provided below will let you download a .zip file which contains the driver set for the handset.
Just in case you are unaware of the process that involves installing the drivers on your PC, read the below instructions carefully.

Firstly, extract the .zip file you’ve just downloaded into a new folder. Next, connect your Xperia XZ Premium to the PC. Obviously, it won’t be able to detect the smartphone automatically since the drivers are not yet installed.
Now, while keeping the device connected to the PC, open the device manager on your computer. You’ll now have to search for the XZ Premium (it could either be the one with an exclamation mark or could be under the ‘other devices’). Once you find it, right-click and choose ‘Update driver software.’
Next, select ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ and choose the folder to which you have extracted the .zip file earlier. Voila! Your PC will automatically search for the necessary drivers and install them on it.
