If you’ve ever owned a Nexus device and have tried rooting and stuffs, chances are good you’ve heard of Nexus Root Toolkit (NRT). It’s a windows software that let’s you flash factory images, unlock bootloader, flash TWRP recovery and help root Nexus devices.
However, the Nexus series is dead now and Pixel is the new series for Android devices from Google. So it makes sense for WugFresh (the dev behind NRT) to update the tool with a name that includes Pixel as well.
WugFresh’s twitter handle yesterday posted of his plans to support the new Pixel devices and merge them into NRT. And maybe call it PNRT, Pixel Nexus Root Toolkit.
Yes, I do plan to support the new Pixel devices, and likely merge them into NRT, which will be renamed. Maybe PNRT? Pixel Nexus Root Toolkit

We’ll be updating this post once PNRT is live and available for download. Stay tuned..
Happy Androiding!
