Google is rolling out yet another update to the Play Store with version 8.3.42. The last Play Store update, which rolled out earlier this month came with version 8.3.41, and it was a significant jump from version 8.2.58.
We did a detailed APK teardown of Play Store version 8.3.41, and found cool new stuff such as Cookbooks, FAB button, Fast Scroll and Quick Install. However, finding about new stuff in code doesn’t always mean new features coming to the Play Store. At-least that’s the case with today’s update with version 8.3.42, which brings nothing new to the Play Store app on Android devices.
We dig into the Play Store version 8.3.42 APK’s code but couldn’t find any noticeable changes worth mentioning. This is probably just another stability update to Play Store aimed at fixing bugs and errors which Android users often face with Play Store.
As always, Google is rolling out the new Play Store version (8.3.42) in stages and it might take a few days or weeks before it reaches your Android devices. However, if you’re someone who likes to live on the bleeding edge as far as software updates are concerned, then go ahead and download the latest Play Store APK from the download link below and sideload it to your Android device.
