Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy devices will be coming soon (we’re expecting October, 2016) but the 2013 Note series flagship — Galaxy Note 3 — won’t be among the supported devices to get Nougat update from Samsung.
But fret not! Folks over at xda are already working on getting Android 7.0 Nougat on Galaxy Note 3 and thus far they’ve successfully booted CM14 on Note 3, but with very limited functionality. If you use your Galaxy Note 3 on a regular basis, then the current CM14 build isn’t suitable for your usage.
If you’d like to give Android 7.0 Nougat based CM14 a test on your Note 3 though, developer trader418 has shared the experimental build of his Note 3 CM14 ROM for anyone to flash/install.
What’s working:
- Wi-fi
- Adding google account
- Playstore
- Other simple stuff
What’s not working
- Ril
- Camera
- And many more things [/ecko_toggle]
Grab the Galaxy Note 3 CM14 Nougat ROM from the download link below and simply install/flash it via TWRP recovery like you’d flash any other custom ROM on the device. Also, since this is an AOSP based ROM, you will have to flash/install a Nougat supported Gapps package separately via TWRP to get Google services like Play Store on your device. Get both the files below:

Download Android 7.0 Nougat Gapps
For help installing the ROM, follow our detailed step-by-step guide to install CM14 using TWRP recovery OR Cyanogen Recovery.
