The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 won’t be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update officially, let alone the Android 7.1 update that is out as a developer preview release for selected Nexus devices at the moment.

But thanks to the folks over at xda, an unofficial Android 7.1 based custom ROM (AICP 12.1) for Galaxy Note 2 is now available for download and ready to be flashed/installed.

AICP 12.1 is an Android 7.1 Nougat based AOSP ROM developed and maintained by AICP team members.

This is an alpha release of Android 7.1 for Galaxy Note 2 and might not be perfect for everyone. Check all details about the ROM below, along with downloads and installation instructions.
