Samsung has a pretty large number of Android devices under its Galaxy brand, and the manufacturer has dropped support for Android updates for a lot of them. But thanks to the folks over at xda, these devices are still running on the latest and greatest from Android.
The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 (S7582) aka Galaxy Trend Plus (S7580) has just received an unofficial build of CM14.1 ROM, based on Android 7.1 Nougat which is out as a developer preview release for the Nexus 5X, 6P and Pixel C.
CM14.1 is an Android 7.1 Nougat based AOSP ROM developed and maintained by CyanogenMod — the most popular custom ROM for Android devices.
This is an unofficial release of CM14.1 for Galaxy Trend Plus (S Duos 2) and it might not be perfect for everyone. Check all details about the ROM below, along with downloads and installation instructions.
