The 2nd Gen. Android One devices from Google received the Android 7.0 Nougat update officially and will probably get the Android 7.1.1 update as well once it graduates out the developer preview release that’s currently available for Nexus 5X, 6P and Pixel.
However, if you wish to experience the minor new features of Android 7.1.1 on your Android One 2nd Gen phone, developer arvinquilao over at xda has cooked up a CM14.1 ROM that is based on Android 7.1 Nougat dev preview.
CM14.1 is an Android 7.1 Nougat based AOSP ROM developed and maintained by CyanogenMod — the most popular custom ROM for Android devices.
This is an alpha release ROM and might not be suitable for every day usage. Check all details about the ROM below, along with downloads and installation instructions.
