Samsung is poised to introduce, among other things, the new Galaxy S series at its Unpacked event (to be held in San Fransisco on February 20th). Under the S series, four new phones that will be showcased are the Galaxy S10E, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10X, the latter being the 5G variant.
Although a lot is already known about the four phones, Phone Arena got hold of the Nimbus9 phone cover cases manufactured for three of these phones, and the information gleaned from these cases settles any doubt one may have in mind, once and for all.
The Samsung Galaxy S10E is referred to as Galaxy S10 Lite on the packing box, and the screen size is listed as 5.8 inches. Galaxy S10’s packing box states that its screen size is 6.1 inches, while Galaxy S10 Plus’ states it to be 6.4 inches, details that resonate with previous reports.
The design of Galaxy S10E’s case cover reveals that the fingerprint scanner will be situated on the right side of the phone, below the Volume and Power buttons. On the other hand, no cut-out exists in the case covers of Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ at the corresponding point as they will feature in-display fingerprint scanners. All the three aforementioned phones will have a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.
Lastly, the cover cases reveal the actual sizes of the phones, measured vertically from edge to edge. Samsung has done well in this department. Not only are the phones super-slim, but the size of the bezels at both the top and bottom are well nigh negligible. This should make the phone feel tightly packed.
