T-Mobile is offering the Galaxy S8 Plus and the LG G6 for reduced prices. Oh, that’s apart from the BOGO offer the carrier already has in place for you on S8 sets, G6 and V20.

So, if you were on the lookout for a premium flagship with the carrier, now would be the best time to get one. The S8 Plus has a $60 discount, making its final price come down to $790, while the G6 is on $150 off, bringing the price down to $500.

To break down the price, that’s $20 down payment for the G6 with $20 a month for two years. And for the Galaxy S8 Plus, you will need to be pay $70 as down payment and it’s $30 a month for two years. Of course this varies with your credit history.

Both devices have its own edge and the final choice between the two boils down to how much money you can spend and personal preference. The LG G6 offers more value for money. Though you do get that 18:9 QHD HDR10 display, its display isn’t curved like the S8 Plus’ 6.2-inch QHD edge display. On the other hand, the Galaxy S8 Plus features Samsung’s new Bixby assistant but you won’t get a dual camera setup like the one found on the G6.

‘T-Mobile S8 and S8 Plus update rolling out’

The camera is excellent on both of these devices and as mentioned earlier, it comes down to personal choice. On the performance side of things and based on numbers alone, the Galaxy S8 Plus has the upper hand, as the Exynos 8895 chipset is newer than last year’s Snapdragon 821 found on the G6. You also get 6GB of RAM on the Samsung flagship as compared to the 4GB on the G6.

If you’re not comfortable with shelling out more than $500 for a smartphone and performance isn’t a priority (no real world difference between the two, to be honest), then LG’s flagship is your smartphone of your choice. If you feel you need the larger display and more horsepower then look no further than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. Check out the link below to purchase the device of your choice.
