The Taiwanese multinational networking equipment manufacturer D-link has recently launched its first Android tablet in India. The new device dubbed D-Link D100 is now available in India through major online retailers like Flipkart, Snapdeal and Ebay for INR 13,550.

Before coming to India, D-Link has set its business in the Middle-East with its four-Android tablets including this latest device. We aren’t sure whether D-Link’s customers are happy about their device or the company is just trying to popularize its brand which is common for small-time players currently selling their devices in India and other markets.

The D-100 tablet flaunts a 7.85 inch IPS screen with 1024 x 768 resolution. The device will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The slate uses 4000 mAh battery and is based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Camera features include 5MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter. The tablet packs 16GB default storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The D-100 supports 3G and voice-calling. Other connectivity options include USB-OTG, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
