Ever since they got a hold of the Nexus 10, I’m sure a lot of customers of Google’s 10-inch tablet were hoping to get down to flashing CyanogenMod ROM on it, one of the most popular custom ROMs out there known for its performance and customization features. However, considering Android 4.2 was launched at the same time as the Nexus 10, CyanogenMod 10.1 (CM10.1), which is based on Android 4.2, wasn’t available for it.
But that is soon going to change, as a screenshot of CM10.1 running on the Nexus 10 has been posted on the CyanogenMod Google+ page by developer Jason Parker, indicating that its release is almost ready to see the light of day. We should surely see a release of the first very soon, thanks to the easy hackability of Nexus devices which should be no different for the Nexus 10.
Of course, once CM10.1 for the Nexus 10 does get released, we’ll be letting you know and also posting a guide to help newcomers install it on their shiny new Nexus 10. Till then, well, be patient!
