Aptly set “Defy the Status Quo” is the tagline for the upcoming budget-friendly device from Coolpad. The new device that goes by the moniker Coolpad Defiant is all set to launch on the T-Mobile on June 16.
Coolpad Defiant, which is the successor to last year’s Coolpad Catalyst (also available via T-Mobile), is the third device, which will be launching in the same tier of “budget friendly” at T-Mobile.

With better specs than last year’s variant, this year’s Coolpad Defiant will run on Android Nougat out of the box. The other specs include 5” FWVGA display, 1GB RAM/8GB memory coupled with 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Processor.
In the camera segment, the device features 5MP rear facing and 2MP front-facing cameras. Plus, 2,450mAh battery provides the juice. The device weighs 6.5 ounces and measures 5.69 x 2.8 x 0.4 inches.
