Starting today, customers in Korea will be able to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S8 in a striking new color. Samsung has just announced the availability of the Burgundy Red Galaxy S8.
According to Samsung, this is a bold new color and it will be rolled out internationally a little later. For now, only Korean users would be able to buy this special edition. There’s nothing else different with this edition, apart from the color.

To jog your memory, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones were announced in February this year. They both feature a Snapdragon 835/Exynos 8895 chipset, up to 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 12MP dual-pixel rear facing camera, and an 8MP front facing camera. Both the devices feature quadHD Infinity displays with super slim bezels.

Samsung currently sells the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Maple Gold, and Arctic Silver. Pricing details for the new Burgundy color clad Galaxy S8 will be available in the select regions where it is available. Both the phones are due to receive the Android 8.0 Oreo update in January 2018.
