It’s the first day of the month and the details of the August security patch update for Google Nexus 6P is already out. The update will arrive as build number N2G48C and will start hitting Nexus 6P devices staring August 8th.
As is the case with monthly security patch update, in all probability even this one should bring regular bug fixes for Google Nexus 6P. In addition to this, the update will also optimize the security of the device.
Weighing at 36MB only, the update is a minor one but still highly recommended as it will enhance the security of your device. As the update will be rolled over the air, you’ll be prompted when it’s available for download. In case you happen to miss the notification, you can check manually by heading to Settings > About device > System updates.
