BlackBerry KeyOne, the new flagship phone under the brand, was officially unveiled in February during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Post its release it has got many takers and has turned out to be the company’s one of the most successful phones. Riding high on the success, BlackBerry KEYone has been launched in India.

Priced at Rs 39,990, Limited Black Edition has been unveiled in India and will go on sale in the country starting August 8th via Amazon exclusively. TCL, who owns the license to manufacture and distribute BlackBerry smartphones, has also partnered with  American Express and Vodafone.  Users of American Express credit card will get bonus points on purchasing the BlackBerry KEYone Limited Edition Black from Amazon while Vodafone users will get 75GB of data with three months validity.

The Indian variant of the device comes with Dual SIM support. It sports 4.5-inch HD display with resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels. On top sits Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. Under the hood, the device packs in Snapdragon 625 processor hooked on to 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.

On the imaging front there’s 12MP rear camera and 8MP selfie snapper. Battery on the BlackBerry KeyOne is 3505mAh and the phone is shipped with Android 7.1 Nougat.

The main highlight of the BlackBerry KEYone is its physical keyboard which responds to touch gestures and has 52 shortcuts which can be customized.  The device also has fingerprint scanner embedded inside the space bar in front.
