After an eagerly awaited launch, Battlefield 6 players have reported issues with missing rewards, campaign collectibles, and certain edition exclusives. Whether it’s Phantom Edition skins, pre-order packs, or the elusive campaign dog tags, many of these problems can be solved with some basic steps or, in rare cases, official support intervention.
This article walks through how to recover those missing pieces and explains where to find every unlockable, both in multiplayer and campaign mode.
Current status of the Battlefield 6 missing content issue
EA has acknowledged ongoing issues with missing content and “content not installed” errors, particularly affecting Phantom Edition and pre-order bonuses.
Missing rewards
— Battlefield Comms (@BattlefieldComm) October 10, 2025
We’re looking into an issue that is preventing some players from receiving their in-game rewards from the Phantom Edition, the Open Beta rewards, as well as the Road to Battlefield 6 rewards.
We will provide an update when the team has resolved the issue.
Patches will be rolled out to fix these synchronization problems so players can find their missing items.

It’s also worth noting that the EA App has occasionally flagged purchased content as unavailable, which is being addressed by EA’s technical team.
Where to find missing battle pass, pre-order, or event rewards
Missing rewards for pre-orders, open beta participation, or special promotions like “Road to Battlefield 6” from Battlefield 2042 are typically found in the Loadouts tab.

Upon logging in, look for a notification dot—a colored indicator that tells you something new has been added or is unviewed. Here’s what each edition offers:
| Edition | Rewards Location | Notable Content |
|---|---|---|
| Phantom | Loadouts tab | Skins (Phantom Squad), weapons, Tombstone Pack, XP boosts, vehicle/weapon cosmetics |
| Standard | Loadouts tab | Tombstone Pack, XP Boost Set, select weapon/cosmetic items |
| Beta/Event | Loadouts tab | Skins, charms, stickers earned from challenges or event criteria |
If you participated in the Battlefield 6 Beta and met the challenge requirements, those rewards—such as unique character skins, weapon charms, and stickers—will also appear in Loadouts. Note that items unlocked through Battlefield 2042’s “Road to Battlefield 6” event must be redeemed in Battlefield 6 before March 31, 2026.

Make sure your progress has registered, and that you earned the items before global cutoff dates.
How to find campaign dog tags and unlock cosmetics
Locating all 30 campaign dog tags isn’t just for trophy hunters: finding them unlocks exclusive multiplayer skins for NATO and Pax Armata, a special dog tag, vehicle camos, and player cards. Collectibles typically sit just off the main route—on crates, bulletin boards, or inside containers. Each campaign mission tracks collectible progress in its pause menu, making it easy to see which tags you’ve missed. Missions can be replayed at any time, so nothing is permanently inaccessible.
Dog tag locations include:
- Ammo crates in outposts
- Office spaces with C4 objectives
- Bunkers near main paths
- Side rooms, shipping containers, or walls with posters in combat zones
Finding all collectibles earns you the Pack Leader trophy/achievement and a suite of multiplayer rewards.
How to track and unlock challenge rewards
Battlefield 6 includes assignments and challenges in both campaign and multiplayer. Make sure you’ve met the requirements and completed these in order, as some are sequential or rank-locked. Progress can be tracked from the Challenges tab.
If a reward does not show up:
- Log out and fully restart the game to trigger a sync with EA’s servers.
- Play a full match in any mode to refresh reward data.
- If still missing, screenshot your completion status and contact EA Help.
How to troubleshoot missing content issues
When basic checks don’t solve the problem, try these steps:
Step 1
Open the platform’s game client (Steam, EA App, PlayStation, Xbox) and find Battlefield 6 in the library.
Step 2
Right-click (or select) the game and check for a Manage DLC or Add-Ons/Expansions section. Ensure all DLCs, especially Phantom Edition or bonus packs, are installed.
Step 3
Restart Battlefield 6 fully—don’t just quick resume or sleep. Log in again, and check for reward syncs or notifications.
Step 4
Complete a multiplayer or campaign match. Some rewards only appear after a new gameplay session or upon account synchronization.
Step 5
For unresolved issues (missing purchased currency, compromised account, or persistent server delays), contact EA Help with full purchase, date, platform, and challenge details attached.
Do also note that
How to replay missions to sweep for missing collectibles
Dog tags and other campaign collectibles track in the mission select screen or the pause menu within that mission.
Step 1
Open Campaign from the main menu and select the mission with missing collectibles.
Step 2
Use the in-mission tracker to confirm which dog tag is missing—locations are generally fixed, so check supply crates, side rooms, and near ammo stations.
Step 3
Find the collectible, finish the mission, and achievement/tracking progress should update retroactively.
Keeping up with all the unlockables in Battlefield 6—whether through campaign, special editions, or promotional events—can feel like a scavenger hunt. Most content is delivered automatically, but a few bugs, server hiccups, or missed requirements can block access. Patience is crucial in the first few days after launch, as some issues require backend fixes. If everything else fails, EA Help remains the final stop to get your rewards and content sorted out.
